I wanted to show the friction between two different forces. On the left, there is the organic, colorful life of the ocean, which grows in complex patterns. On the right, human industry is represented by a ship that is burning and leaking. I used bright colors for the reef and harsh, jagged lines for the fire to show that these two things aren't currently designed to exist in the same space.
